Oh So Beautiful Paper Feature
It's been a crazy July. First FPO and now Oh So Beautiful Paper. What's next? It kind of feels like it's a mistake, since I only submitted my work on a whim and didn’t really expect to get any sort of response since I figure every print designer in the entire world is trying to get their stuff out there/seen. But instead, I got an e-mail four days later from Nole Garey, founder and editor of Oh So Beautiful Paper, saying she'd love to feature my work. What!? That was fast and is this a joke? I hope not.
I guess it serves as a good lesson for me, and really for any young designer. Lesson: Have faith in yourself and believe in your designs. I’m going to submit these two recent wedding invitations to some publications and see what happens. Wish me luck.
Also, I wanted to take the opportunity to correct an error that was made. My amazing calligrapher, Katrina S. L. Centeno, was credited incorrectly. It’s not Calligraphy by Katrina, but instead Calligraphy Katrina. You can see more of her work here.
